Our Plan For Re-Opening DentoBeauty
As we near the end of the coronavirus lockdown period, we are able to open our dental surgery, subject to new safety measures and procedures.
Below are the steps we are taking for best practice based on current guidance…
Prior to arrival, patients will be called and triaged based on COVID-19 symptoms and the need for urgent dental care.
Patients who are able to consent for themselves should attend on their own. Any exemptions should be confirmed prior to your visit.
During the initial phone call, patients will be given relevant instructions regarding their visit, including waiting outside the surgery on arrival.
Upon arrival, we ask that patients call the surgery to let us know you are here for your appointment and wait outside until we are ready for attendance.
Our staff will equip themselves with the appropriate PPE and call you when we are ready for you.
We ask that you attend on your own and do not bring any unnecessary items, such as coats and bags.
We will hold the door for you and ask that you avoid touching any surfaces in the surgery where possible.
We will also require you to use hand sanitiser when you first arrive and allow us to take your temperature using our non-contact thermometer.
For any payments that are required, we would prefer contactless payments, however, if this is not possible, we ask that any cash brought into the surgery is sealed in a plastic bag prior to arrival.
In the treatment room, we will remove all unnecessary tools and only have what is required for your treatment.
Below is a short video from the NHS which explains our new procedures in full.
If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment, you can do so by using the contact form below the video.
We hope that you are safe and well during this time and look forward to seeing you soon.
